GATE the competitive exam which is conducted by top most 7 IIT and Indian institute of science Bangalore, this is a exam from which we can get placed in top most public sectors like NTPC,ONGC, Indian and also we can get admission for postgraduate degree,(M.tech) in the top most Engineering Colleges of India.
Why is GATE exam for?
As i mentioned, the purpose of GATE exam is to get admission in (Postgraduate) Masters Program of top most institute of India and GATE score is also accepted by the public sectors like NTPC, ONGC, BHEL, INDIAN OIL etc.

What is the use of qualifying GATE exam?
if you successfully qualified the GATE examination then you are qualified for getting stipend of 12400 Rupee from government of India if you take admission in any Masters program of any Central or state government Recognised college.
What is the salary after GATE?
GATE examination does not assure you to give any kind of job, But you can get stipend if you qualify Gate and take admission in Masters Program.
Is GATE necessary for government jobs?
No. Gate is not necessary for getting government job but yes you can get government job from GATE examination.
Can we give GATE in 3rd year?
IIT Kharagpur 2022 is allowing 3rd year student to give GATE examination if you are a pre final year student then you can give GATE exam.
Is GATE compulsory for Mtech?
No. Gate is not compulsory for Masters but if you want to complete your masters from top most institutes of India likes IIT Bombay or Indian Institute of Science Bangalore then you have to give the GATE examination for their admission process.
How many attempts are there for GATE?
There is no boundation for giving GATE examination in terms of number of attempts and your age.
What is the Vaild Gate Score ?
Valid GATE score is a rank card of GATE exam which will be provided to candidate which qualify the GATE exam from their respective category General OBC or SC ST. Gate valid score is valid for 3 years.
What is GATE syllabus?
GATE syllabus basically has two sections in section 1, general aptitude syllabus is common for all the branches and then the second section is of your main subject which is according to your respective branch,this is different for all the engineering branches.

How much time is required for GATE preparation?
if you have mind set for to go for the GATE examination then you can start your GATE preparation in 2nd year itself GATE examination is not very much different from your college syllabus so you can prepare for GATE examination with your college syllabus that will help you to get good marks in your college. Also then you can expand your concept using this so basically if you are in second year or in third year then you can start a great preparation with your college syllabus itself. and if you are a late comer then 9 months to 6 months is enough for preparing all the 13 subjectd of GATE exam and you can get more than 65 marks in just 6 Months also.

Yes absolutely IIT Kharagpur is allowing candidate to give two papers in GATE 22.
